Digital Thermostatic Temperature Control

The integrated digital thermostatic controller provides greater control than a basic fixed-temperature heating element. In Free Mode, the temperature can be adjusted between 30°C and 70°C.

Free Mode: Manually adjust the temperature between 30°C and 70°C.
Timer Mode: Set a heating period from 30 minutes up to 8 hours.
Constant Temperature Mode: Operates at a preset 50°C.
Weekly Mode: Program heating periods across the week.
Control Lock: Helps prevent accidental changes to the controller settings.

In Timer Mode, the heating temperature is preset at 65°C and the operating time can be adjusted from 30 minutes to 8 hours in 30-minute increments.

What Is a Dual Fuel Towel Radiator?

A dual fuel towel radiator can be heated using your central heating system or an electric heating element. During colder months, the towel radiator can operate as part of your normal central heating system. When the central heating is switched off, the electric element provides an alternative way to heat the towel rail independently.

Which Wattage Should I Choose?

The electric heating element should be correctly matched to the size and specification of your heated towel radiator. The 300W element measures approximately 300mm from the threaded connection, while the 500W element measures approximately 450mm.

Always check both the required element wattage and available internal radiator space before ordering. Do not select an element based on physical length alone.

Installation & Compatibility

This kit is designed for converting a compatible heated towel radiator to dual fuel operation. The heating element uses a 1/2" BSP threaded connection. The T-piece allows the electric heating element and central heating connection to be used together, while the included angled valve provides the other central heating connection.
