This dual fuel towel radiator kit includes a smart electric heating element, 1/2" BSP T-piece and angled radiator valve, providing the main components required to convert a compatible central-heating towel radiator for dual-fuel operation. A dual-fuel setup allows your towel radiator to operate from the central heating system during colder months or independently using the electric heating element when the main heating is switched off. This makes dual fuel particularly useful during spring and summer when you want warm, dry towels without running the whole central heating system.

How Does a Dual-Fuel Towel Radiator Work?

A dual-fuel towel radiator combines central heating with an electric heating element. During winter, the towel rail can operate normally as part of your central heating system. When the central heating is switched off, the electric element allows the towel radiator to be heated independently.

The supplied T-piece allows the electric heating element and central heating connection to share a compatible bottom connection on the towel radiator, while the angled radiator valve connects the radiator to compatible central heating pipework.

Smart Heating Element with Thermostat & BOOST Timer

The included smart towel radiator heating element provides adjustable temperature control from 45°C to 65°C, with settings adjustable in 5°C increments.

The BOOST function can be set from 1 to 5 hours. During BOOST operation, the heating temperature is fixed at 65°C. Once the selected BOOST period has finished, the heating element automatically switches off.

Black or Chrome Dual-Fuel Kit

Choose Black for matte black towel radiators and contemporary bathroom fittings, or Chrome for polished chrome heated towel rails, valves and bathroom accessories.

The coordinated finish of the element controller, T-piece and angled valve helps create a cleaner appearance around the bottom of the towel radiator.
