True 700mm Width for a Bathroom Wall

This radiator measures 700mm overall width and 1200mm high. The width creates a useful run of horizontal bars for towels while its height determines how much vertical wall area you need.

Allow clearance around taps, sanitaryware and valves. Choose by the published heat output as well as the available wall space; the 700mm height options do not increase in stated BTU in perfect height order.

23-Tube Wide Towel Rail Design

This model has 23 horizontal tubes in a 4 + 4 + 5 + 10 layout. The flat rails provide horizontal room for towels across the 700mm width.

The additional height gives you more rows for hanging towels. Thick towels on the rail can reduce the heat released into the room, so consider its heating role as well as towel use.

Polished Chrome Finish for Bathrooms

The chrome finish coordinates with chrome taps, shower fittings and radiator valves. The flat-bar shape offers a clean look in contemporary bathrooms.

Built from steel, the radiator is tested to BS EN 442. Clean with a soft cloth and follow the product care guidance to protect the finish.

2531 BTU/h Heat Output

The published heat output of this 700mm x 1200mm chrome towel radiator is 2531 BTU/h (742W). Compare the 700mm x 1200mm model with the 700mm x 1000mm chrome model at 2095 BTU/h (614W) and the 700mm x 800mm chrome model at 1659 BTU/h (486W).

Check this output against your room's calculated heating requirement. The floor area, insulation, glazing and external walls can all affect the heat needed.

Use our BTU calculator to estimate the heating output needed for your bathroom.

650mm Pipe Centres & Installation Dimensions

The radiator's connections are 650mm apart, centre to centre. This measurement is important when replacing an existing towel radiator or planning new pipework; the overall radiator width is 700mm.

Allow approximately 75–95mm from the finished wall to the pipe centres and approximately 90–110mm overall projection from the wall, depending on bracket adjustment and installation.
